Nimbus Solutions is a founder-owned, locally operated wireless internet provider (WISP) serving rural Southwest Colorado since 2017. We deliver fast, reliable fixed-wireless internet over a licensed LTE and 5G network we build and maintain ourselves, with local technicians who show up in person.
Where does Nimbus provide internet?
Nimbus serves Montezuma County and parts of La Plata and Dolores counties, including Mancos, Cortez, Dolores, Lewis, Dove Creek, and Hesperus. The footprint reaches the Utah border to the west, the New Mexico border to the south, Hesperus to the east, and Dove Creek to the north. How fast is Nimbus internet, and what does it cost?
Home plans start at $50 a month for up to 50 Mbps and $75 a month for up to 100 Mbps, each with a one-time $200 install. Gigabit-class wireless (300 to 800 Mbps everyday) is $95 a month where line of sight allows, and is live in Dolores, Lewis, and Mancos. See plans and pricing for the full lineup.
Does Nimbus require a contract or have data caps?
No. Every Nimbus plan is month to month with no contract, no data caps, and no throttling. You can pause billing when you travel for the season and cancel anytime.
How is Nimbus different from satellite internet like Starlink?
For many local addresses, Nimbus delivers comparable or better everyday speeds with no obstruction issues, plus local in-person support instead of a call center. We run our own licensed wireless network (AS397279) rather than reselling someone else’s service.
